I cannot use Maglo sync to help you update the database. Will there be an update for both Magleo sync and the soultree calculator?

Magelo for Rift is very much alive, the Database is always updated, same for the soultree calculator. If you find any error or missing data, please let us know.

As of 07/24/2017, there hasn't any update to the soul tree calculator to factor in legendaries. And of course the new primalist souls (but that's really new). Any plans for an update for 4.2?

Yes Magelo for Rift is still alive even though things take a bit more time to update lately. I am working on updating the database and client for the 4.2 release at the moment.

If you don't have much time for client support maybe you could open source it and we will help with patches and 64 bit support?

It would be pretty difficult and time consuming open sourcing and documentting the myriad of projects that are necessary to run and patch the client...
On a side note, I have patched the website, updated the database, the soul trees as well as Magelo Sync.
