"No JVM could be found on my system" error. Whats that its preventing me from updating?? I have Java 7 update 17 installed btw.

Hi Palijim, If you are on a 64 bit system, make sure you have installed both the 32 and the 64bit JRE, I suspect you might have installed only the 32 bit version.
