Due to the security issues with Java I have uninstalled Java, ran 2 different antivirus programs and installed Java 6 in order to minimize my exposure to the Java hacks. I am having issues with Magelo Auto sync now. The error says No JVM found on my system. What can I do to fix this ?

Magelo uses Java 7. If you're concerned about malicious websites running bad java code, you can disable the browser plug-in and it won't affect other applications that use the Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
