The current Magelo Update version has proven to be problematic when used on the Java Runtime Environment version 5. Under JRE 6 it seems to work fine, but the problem is that JRE 6 is not officially available for download yet. If you have JRE 5 installed and experience any problems using the Magelo Update program, please stay tuned for a solution. (Edit: in the mean time, you could download the JRE 6 here - at this moment the 4th entry in the list).

As long as this new JRE is required, I will not be able to use your service.. This new Java Runtime is for SP2, and I cannot install SP2 without it putting my comp in a never ending reboot loop. After several formats, a thousand dollars upgrading my comp, and a bald head, I still cannot use SP2.

It hasnt given me any problems yet running under SP1, but keeping my fingers crossed =)

I just repacked correctly Magelo Update to work fine with Java 5, so there is no need to upgrade to Java 6 yet.
