There are 2 quests in this area that are tight together: 1. A Recovered Ring 2. The Lost Locket I requested assistance from rift support to help solve it and got this response: "Generally, you come across one of the quests as a Defiant (the locket) and one as a Guardian (the Ring). If you have done the Locket quest, it can prevent you from doing the Ring quest. That does appear to be by design, though I have heard that you can get someone to share the quest with you and have it work- have not tried, myself. Hope that helps"

When opened the chest does not give or drop anything so this one might be broken now.

This quest is only for Guardians. The fact that it ends at Ursin Grove Bunker (Guardian base) should be a tip off.
