The Awakened were the followers of Salvarola. They destroyed the Eternal City and nearly brought the great civilization under the thumb of that madman. But now he's dead, and they don't know what to do with themselves. There is nothing more pathetic than a cultist without a master. Now they're doing rituals to every demon or spirit they can think of, in a desperate attempt to gain power. The Alliance is nervous that one of them might work. So we want you to go into the jungle and disrupt them.
