A little while ago I sent some Malgams on a skirmish against the Wanton at Obsidian Shore. I wanted to test some modifications that the master shapers had made to the latest batch of Malgams. I had hoped that they would have returned by now but they have not. [%NAME], I need you to travel to Obsidian Shore and find out what has happened to our Malgams! If they have been destroyed, bring back what pieces you can of the Malgams so we can discern how they failed against the Wanton.

It is bad news that the Wanton can so easily disable the Malgams. I will work with the master shapers to come up with stronger binding spells, ones that the Wanton will not be able to override. Don't worry, [%NAME], the Wanton haven't beaten us yet!
