Atasha Kirren in Lantern Hook wants you to take etchings from the Monuments of Enkanen and of Varu beyond the southwestern border of the Jagged Fringe.Description
Some think the sorcerers of Eth tried to become gods, but were destroyed by their own spell - the Convocation. Histories are rare, but monuments to the mages Enkanen and Varu were found nearby. Perhaps etchings from the stonework will reveal part of this tale.
Upon completion
These Etchings are astounding! Varu and Enkanen died before the Convocation, but they advanced Eth's mastery of life magic necessary for the ritual. The spell would "borrow" thousands of souls, but... The etchings are incomplete. One of the monuments was damaged.
