So many of the seas in the Plane of Water have been corrupted by the dragon, or by the Akvan horrors that lurk in the dark, away from the light. The Akvan horrors seek to destroy the seas that came after them: to corrupt and devour their essence, leaving behind only a broken, primordial reality. The Akvan Shikolec lurks in the Grotto of Horror. I would not be surprised if it was responsible for Draum's abandoning of the dream of our reef. If we are to win back our waters, it must be destroyed.

Draum has abandoned his dream of the Reef, and we see an ominous smoke in the, what do you call it? Sky. Invaders from other planes have sensed our weakness and seek to take advantage of it. Creatures averse to the seas now have the opportunity to invade our realm. The balance of the cosmos has been thrown off. To bring the reef back into harmony will require more than just the destruction of one Akvan.
