When the Tidelords discovered the Faceless Man's name, it gave them a powerful weapon. They used it to find a shard of his soul that he turned over to Akylios long ago. He believes that's how they inflicted this magical disease on him. We have only one option: we must get it back. He imparted to me an idea of how we can locate it. In the time of the first Age of Dragons, the party of heroes who would one day imprison Akylios infiltrated the Abyssal to learn their secrets. I met a dwarven scholar named Rurik in Iron Pine who was particularly interested in the history of those heroes. Maybe he will have some insight into how we can proceed.

Oh yes, I know what you're looking for! I've spent my life studying these heroes and trying to find clues about the artifact they used to infiltrate the Abyssal. I found a reference early on to the "Visage of the Deep" but not to any of its properties or how it was constructed. Only recently have I made any sort of new breakthrough. It is quite a breakthrough though!
