Bound in Death

I heard a story once in the Runeguard. The story goes that on his death, a great dwarven hero asked that his soul be bound to a construct so that he could continue to fight his enemies long after his death. Some tell a darker version of the story: that he didn't ask, but that his king demanded his continued service and made it so. Maybe that was Rasmolov and this is a piece of the creature he became. If you are looking to find him, I think the only place to try would be Runic Descent. Possibly he was in Hammerknell, but if that's the case, well, he's probably lost to us.

Careful with that! It's very old, and I'm surprised it hasn't moldered any further. My goodness, what a treasure! This scroll describes the way to create runes that ward one from fell magics. It makes sense that Rasmolov spent his life learning to fight magic and would have inscribed the mask with these runes to protect the wearer from the Abyssal's magic. With this, we have everything that we need! I am so excited. I feel as though I'm going to jump right out of my robes!
