Description

When the Ascended first manifested upon Telara, the Guardians of the Vigil and the Defiants of Meridian warred against each over of the use of sourcestone. The Guardians felt it was an abomination to use such holy relics of the gods in such a manner. It was Orphiel who championed the use of sourcestone in the Defiant magitech. And now with the revelations about his past that he might have taught it to the Eth in the first place. Is Ahnket using sourcestone in the way the Defiants once did, with reckless abandon? If that is true, then it could be the reason for the warnings of the Vigil that we were never able to resolve.

Upon completion

Source Decay... The Tenbreans burn the very structure of Creation. This is a holocaust of the divine. By the Vigil. This is more horrific than anything I could imagine. Even the fallen members of the Legion. Their souls burning to fuel these invader's lives. This must be what the gods warned us about. Not the Defiants use of magitech or machines. The harnessing of source energy that could lead to the end of creation.

To complete this, find a pad with e column of blue light still active, and hop up onto the pad, then kite or range-hit to lure an Utukku Worker up with you. Only pads with a) a column of blue light and b) an Utukku Worker/Source Guardian nearby work. When the Utukku Worker hops up onto the pad, there's an explosive flash, the column of light goes out, and you have the credit. You might get a "Bronze Goo" mob that appears in place of the Worker or Guardian. You don't have to kill these to get credit.
