The giant door in the overseer's report makes me think of the huge skeleton in Titan's Rest. Alvarend Rifor has been studying the remains of that titan. If there is anyone who could shed light on this matter, it would be he.

You wish to discuss titans? Lyndon Kassel and I have been studying them. We believe Ethians brought the titans to Telara to guard the region's sourcestone. The titans rebelled, breaking free of the Ethian control, but then they vanished. It's anyone's guess what happened to them.
