You'll excuse me if I don't introduce myself. I left my name behind long ago when I joined the Abyssal. A coven of warlocks knows better than anyone else what power a name has. Don't be alarmed. I turned away from them and helped the Defiants secure this base. Feel free to question my loyalty all you like, so long as you do not question my methods. I have methods of keeping track of my old compatriots. I believe that something is afoot in Lakeside Outpost. I sent Ziara ahead to investigate. I bid you join her.

Something strange is certainly going on here. The way the Abyssal works, though, makes it difficult to tell. Everything they do is hidden beneath layers of secrets and occult mysteries. I've seen... very strange things. I don't even want to repeat them because I don't understand, and I don't want to understand. Because when I try, it starts nagging at me mercilessly like a voice in my head that won't go away.
