As runebinding gained prominence, dwarven artisans found that binding a demon into runecraft requires a great deal of energy. They devised capsules to power these procedures, many of which litter the fortress grounds. We must recover them before the Abyssal does.
Upon completion
I'm afraid that some of these capsules have been depleted. It appears as if someone has already used them! Whatever the Abyssal cult is doing up there, they now have more than enough power to do it.
