Planar Fragments have their own inventory, which you can view by opening your character sheet and selecting the Fragment Inventory tab. To equip one, select the Planar Fragment tab. Slots that accept Fragments are marked by an elemental symbol. Only a fragment of the matching elemental type will fit there. I gave you a Fire Fragment, so click on a Fire slot to see it in the list of available Fragments. Drag it into the slot to equip it, then activate the nearby Fragment Analyzer.

As you have learned, the various elemental types have stronger affinities with some attributes than others. Fire Fragments are especially strong with Spell and Attack Power. I'll now give you another Fragment to examine.
