Mother's Day

The boglings at Bailghol worship Queen Una's hated enemy, Nathairacha, the Green Mother. They worship her to come and end their yoke of oppression under the Tuath'de. I believe this happens not by the dragon destroying the Queen, but by eating everyone in the village. Skub says that she will soon emerge and devour not just the boglings, but her own children as well. However they know a way to stop her. Let us take this new disaster and turn it to our advantage. If Una and the Green Mother are enemies, we can gain an ally in the dragon, even temporarily. We should meet this dragon they worship. We should treat with her.

The boglings won't be devoured, for now. As much as their antics annoy me, having allies native to a land is always a benefit. What really concerns me is the Una's contingency. Tristaine said she always has another plan. We have repeatedly denied her sacrifices for her madstone. If she were sane and rational she would have abandoned whatever ritual she had planned. But I don't think she has abandoned both long ago.
