Spirit the Kindling of the Season

I have these chests of nuts, and I have heard that roasting them over an open fire is just the thing to make the season bright. As you can imagine, firewood is a hard thing to find under the the sea, but there just happens to be some of an ambulatory nature nearby in the Landquarium. I couldn't get them to come of their own accord, so perhaps you can help me save this Fae Yule tradition?

I'll get this fire burning right away! Now, do I just place these chests in the flames as they are, or do I dump the nuts directly into the bonfire? This tradition makes little sense to me...
