This former adventurer is dead, but he does not appear to have died to any injuries. His skin is ashen and there is evidence of illness. His clothes also appear stained with Shade Moss. People in Granite Falls have been getting sick - perhaps that Shade Moss stuff is responsible. Someone back in town can probably investigate further if you can bring back some samples.

That Shade Moss is some unwholesome looking stuff. But I doubt if this could be behind the illnesses that have been plaguing the town.
