Description

My people, the Tenebreans, exist in a collapsing cosmos. We harvest other universes to sustain our own, using vessels such as this and agents such as myself. But I grew to love Telara too much. When I abandoned my mission, I thought this cosmos would be safe, but the gods we captured to power this vessel are stirring. The hatred we instilled in them is reflected in their dreams, in Lord Arak. I sense his presence. Free me and we will face him together and make our escape! Please?

Upon completion

Well, with some trepidation, I've told them the truth. We slew Lord Arak, but the gods aboard the vessel will dream him into existence again. They may still be asleep, but not for long, and they'll initiate the destruction protocols once they awaken. At some point soon, we'll have to go aboard that ship and destroy those deities before they harvest this cosmos for the Tenebreans. But that is a battle for another day. Thank you for everything, [%Name]. All these years I've kept my history secret, and it is a relief to finally confess my past to my allies. Hopefully, they won't lock me away for it!

To figure out this fight yourself, you could repeat the preceding quest chain on another toon and pay attention to the advice given by each Telaran deity. Or you could try listening to the voice over. A much easier option is to read the guide on rift forums: http://forums.riftgame.com/game-discussions/rift-guides-strategies/469149-harder-than-arak-help.html. The fight is surprisingly easy when you understand the mechanics.

Now that it is easy to get frozen hearts you may be thinking of completing the Nightmare Saga in order to gear up an alt. All of the upgraded weapons have the same proc. My advice: Clerics: Don't bother. It's pretty easy to get an epic T2 2-hander from IGP or HK. They do more dps than the relic T1 staff. Why? The T2 weapons have much higher stats than the T1, while the proc only does around 800 dps. Mages: Same answer, although I haven't tested it personally. Rogues and Warriors: The 1-handers and the bow look pretty good. Since it might take a while to get two T2 epic 1-handers I think you can't go wrong choosing the 1-hander that fits your role. The bow is also a good choice, since you would want to use your first two Eyes upgrading T2 1-handers.
