The days grows short, and the Apocalypse of Arcarax approaches. If time were on our side we could search for another method to confront the Duke and stop him without sundering the Mount or releasing the Red Flight. But we sought out Carlliazidajjala because we had few other options, so by necessity we follow her plan. May the Vigil forgive us. Let us ascend Mount Pyre, we will throw this Eth device upon the summit, and sunder the mountain. The Red Flight will escape their imprisonment, and though they may plague the innocent for a thousand generations, they will not soon end all of Creation.

The deed is done. We have opened the way for the dragons of the Red Flight to escape as well as any other condemned horror that was too much for the devils of the Alaviax. I only pray that this was not in vain. It is strange though. While our actions are clearly part of Carlliazidajjala's plan, we have not seen her. Were we that far ahead of her? Or have we once again done her infernal business for her? I fear time is too short, and we are in to deep but to go forward. May the Vigil forgive us for the harm we do in our efforts to save Creation.
