We're always asked one question: why go deeper into the nightmare if it is endless? To make numbers go up, of course! I am kidding: that is only the second most important reason. The primary reason: the deeper we go, the greater chance we have of gaining power and control over our nightmares. The control and shackling of one's irrational mind is of the highest importance when dealing with horrors that manifest from the unconscious. To effect this control, we need to learn. To learn, we need data. Now for a reconnaissance mission: we need you to test the corporeality of a particularly strong nightmare.

Your findings are worrisome. It seems the nightmares are improving their means of disguise. It appears some of them may even be able to mimic inanimate objects.
