You've heard about the dragon egg shells that've been appearing in the rifts? Well, just after that started up, treasure started dropping from the sky into Meridian. At first, this was taken as some sort of great fortune, but quickly enough the people who gathered them began being driven mad with greed. It didn't even take a close inspection to detect Laethys's corrupting energy in them. We need strong-willed Ascended to gather up these treasures and bring them here to be purged of the planar power.
