look for NPCs with the name Lost Traveler, surrounded by black smoke that can be seen a long way off. you don't have to use your quest item just stand in the circle when someone else does it easiest way to find them is to make a target macro /tar Lost

Maybe a little addition. The quest on the map is pointing to a point in Sanctum near the forge (dunno about Meridian) but that is confusing. The Lost Travelers are in the zone Silverwood, not in Sanctum itself
