Stand on the heads of the lions on the bow and sides of the ship at 8470, 12151. This vid (not mine) shows how to get to the Lion's Head ( https://youtu.be/BEHPmZcPH8g) Run around the whole ship, too - I found quite a few artifacts on it.

Climbing on the rope for the 1st lion is already a pain... but doing the "jump over" (with the mount) has been even more painful, and not success as far as I was concerned. Happily, the Angel Flight capacity of my character allowed to cheat on this to finally reach the first lion's head !
