Shortly, it's PvP MMO with 115 000+ registered supporters and already $7M of budget, not bad for an indie game kickstarted last March. Described by developers as "Game of Thrones meets EVE online", it will consist of lots of unique, procedurally generated worlds - including the ones made by players - with voxel building & destruction and massive battles over resources and territory control.
Best quick intro is IMO it's IGN Wiki and here is couple early (pre-alpha test) videos, still quite rough + with rather small maps and player numbers:
