It would be very cool if you could have a plugin that allowed Item links in Discord. This has become the go to communication tool for much of the community. (Not just EQ but other MMO's as well)

That's a pretty good idea, I will have to research if and how this is doable.

After a first look, it does not look like that discord is supporting any way of providing enhancement for links in a given topic. Be it a tooltip or a way to unfurl the link. Only option would be for people to use https://betterdiscord.net
