Tomorrow, all US shards will go offline at approximately 8am PST, and will be offline for implementation of Patch 1.7 and "additional shard verifications". EU downtime has not yet been announced. We will post the patch notes as available, as well as any pertinent announcements. Quoting the original post by Amary on the Rift Community Website: Tomorrow morning [2/1/12] at 8:00am PST, the NA region shards will be coming offline for the update to 1.7. To allow for additional shard verifications, the estimated downtime window is 2 hours . Compiled patch notes will be updated and posted here on the forums in the morning.
