Content patch to go live with scheduled maintenance
 It's official! Patch 1.8 will go live tomorrow. Below, we have posted the official announcement posted by Amary on the Rift Community Website:
Good evening, Ascended!
I bet you can all guess what this is for...
The NA region shards will be coming down tomorrow morning, 4/18/12, at 8:00am PDT for the update to 1.8. The downtime window is currently estimated at ** 2 hours **.
Patch notes will be updated and there's a LOT of reading material for those of you waiting while the shards are down.
I'll be back in the morning with status updates throughout the downtime!
