I have problems with MagSync atm.
I did reinstall it a while back because I couldn't open the game any more from within MagS
This didn't help btw. Reinstalling it. Last couple of months I couldn't start Rift anymore from MagSync.
So today I thought. I'm gonna reinstall it again.
But now MagSync won't open any more at all
It keeps on hanging on the 'not clickable' start 'frame' when you start MagSync
After a very long time a 'window' opens beneath it saying:


emphasis_The launcher was unable to download a required file (/sync/launcher/14/sync.launch?14.1369475890693). If it is the first time this problem occurs, try running Magelo Sync once again. Go to www.magelo.com and check the forums for further help. _emphasis

Things I did to get it to work again:
I uninstalled. reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled.
Deleted the folders after uninstall
cleared the register with ccleaner,
deleted the magelo.sync file.
Gave admin rights to the folders, files
Jave is up to date (Version 7 Update 21)
Firewall doesn't seem to block anything (port 80 - TCP)

So I'm out of options to get it back to working again.

I am getting this message when MSync loads.

Network Failure

I too am having this problem. Magelo recently stopped starting RIFT automatically... then a few weeks later I am getting this message.

I have been using Magelo successfully for 2 years with RIFT and then this started happening.

Had a little issue with the server responsible for delivering client assets, it's fixed now !

Downloader seems fixed, however I am still unable to start RIFT from the Magelo client as I was able to previously.

The same goes fro me. Client works, unable to launch Rift

Thanks, we are looking into this game launch issue.
Edit: In the meantime, you can of course launch the game manually.

Earlier today I started MagSync. No problem

A minute ago I started it again and get the same error as the one in the first post.

Network failure

Tried to start Sync again. It than hangs in the 'starting' area which says Contacting www.magelo.com
