The sync with the gear seems to be having some problems, and it seems directly related to the roles. I couldn't get my active gear to show up after a sync (I checked both roles I had synced). I finally went in and edited my toon on Magelo and changed which role to show, and then the character screen finally started showing the new gear. However, the Magelo bar is still reflecting the old gear when I'm doing item comparisons.

Thanks Skipbeat for your report, there is in fact a problem with the webbar item comparison tool. It should take into account the fact you updated the main role of your character. In the mean time we noticed the stats comparison is not visible anymore in the dual tooltip. We will take a look to these issues and will keep you posted.

The issues related to the webbar should be now fixed. The item comparison will properly display your updated main role items and the stats differences are back in the tooltip
